Find Your Stance
Begin Your Practice with an Arrival Breath
Stand somewhere quiet.
Let your feet settle beneath you.
If it feels good, remove your footwear to feel closer to the earth.
Take one slow inhale through the nose.
Let the exhale be longer than the inhale.
Again.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your hands rest naturally.
Practice
Place your feet about hip-width apart.
Feel the ground beneath both feet.
Shift your weight slightly forward.
Then slightly back.
Now return to center.
Notice:
where you feel steady
where you feel held
where you are trying too hard
Let your body find the place that does not need to prove anything.
A Small Reminder 🌿
Being steady does not mean being rigid.
Sometimes balance begins
when we stop bracing.
Optional Add-Ons
🌿 Family: Invite children to stand like trees. Ask what kind of tree they are today.
🌿 Daily Life: Try this before answering a difficult text, entering work, or walking into a busy room.
🌿 Virtual: Stand beside your desk for one minute. Feel both feet on the floor before returning to the screen.
