Hands remember connection

Touch Something Living

Arrival Breath

Let the breath drop lower, into the belly.

Slow inhale through the nose.
Longer exhale through the mouth.

Again.
Nothing to force.

Let your body settle before you begin.

Practice

Find something living:

a leaf, bark, grass,
maybe your dog.

Place your hand on it.

Stay for three to five breaths.

No analyzing.
Just contact.

🌿 Let your hand be curious, not careful.

A Small Reminder

Ask quietly:

What does this feel like today?

Sometimes calm arrives through contact.

Optional Add-Ons

🌿 Family: Invite children to find one living thing to greet gently. Compare textures together.

🌿 Daily Life: Pause with a houseplant, your dog, or a tree before starting the next task.

🌿 Virtual: Keep a plant nearby, open a window, or place a hand over your heart if nothing living is close.
